Dr. Rezvani, Dentist
Dr. Rezvani, along with her husband Dr. Ata Nasirzadeh, founded Elles Birch Dental in 2001. She has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years, and has extensive experience in all aspects of dental care, including orthodontics.
When she is not in the office tending to her patients, Dr. Rezvani enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Ata Nasirzadeh, Dentist
Dr. Ata has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years, and in 2001 along with his wife Dr. Rezvani, he founded Elles Birch Dental.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry and has a keen interest in dental surgeries, including root canal therapy.
Dr. Ata is a member of the Ontario Dental Association.
When he’s not at the office, Dr. Ata’s hobbies include spending time with his family, playing sports and being outdoors.

Dr. Pasha Nasirzadeh, Dentist
Dr. Pasha is a Scarborough general, family and cosmetic dentist who specializes in comprehensive dental treatments with an emphasis on TMD, implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.
He received his Honors Bachelor of Science Degree, and subsequently his Doctor of Dental Surgery, both from the University of Toronto. He has also received extensive training in the field of implant dentistry, and studied at the Misch Implant Institute, and the Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Studies.
Dr. Pasha is also a member of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Toronto Central Dental Society and the Ontario Dental Association. His hobbies include playing sports and traveling.

With every new patient to the practice, Dr. Pasha strives to develop a personal and long-lasting relationship. He understands that his patients must put their trust in him everyday. That is why Dr. Pasha recognizes the importance of spending time with each patient, thoroughly explaining to them the nature of their problems and discussing various available treatment options.
Edna Laciste, Registered Dental Hygienist
Edna is a registered dental hygienist who has been a part of the team at Elles Birch Dental since 2002. It is Edna’s passion for patient interaction and education that makes her an exceptional hygienist. She enjoys spending time with all patients, educating them on all phases of treatment and preventative care, and answering questions about dental procedures such as tooth whitening and oral cancer screenings.
Edna especially enjoys working at Elles Birch Dental because she gets to be part of a dental practice with “top notch” dentists with 25 or more years of experience that really shows in their quality of work.
When she is not at the office, Edna enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies and listening to music.
Ruhil Kassam, Registered Dental Hygienist
Ruhil has been a practicing dental hygienist for 16 years now, 5 of which have been spent working at our Scarborough dental practice. She graduated with an Associate Degree from Syracuse, New York in 1991.
Ruhil describes herself as a “people-person,” making dental hygiene the perfect profession for her. She is positive-minded and greets all her patients with a smile, ensuring that their hygiene visits are as comfortable and pleasant as possible, in a safe and clean environment.
Her primary goal as a hygienist is to assist her patients in achieving and maintaining optimal oral health and overall well-being – both mental and physical.
Ruhil likes to stay active by going to the gym. She is a self-professed, avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs – “Go Leafs Go!”
Mehrasa Azimi, Registered Dental Hygienist
Mehrasa graduated from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene in 2004 and works as a dental hygienist at our practice. Her goal as a dental professional is to improve her patients’ quality of life – a mission she feels is characteristic of people in general: We all exist to make each others lives better.
Mehrasa loves to educate and teach her patients, and strives to excel in all aspects of her job, so that she can administer the best treatment to her patients and tend to all of their individual dental needs.

Maridavid Rankie, Registered Dental Hygienist
Maridavid has been a registered dental hygienist for over 18 years. Having graduated from the Erie Community College in Buffalo with a three year Applied Associate Science Degree in Dental Hygiene, Maridavid has been practicing dental hygiene since 1991.
Maridavid approaches her work with an enthusiastic and friendly nature that easily puts patients at ease, especially her younger patients. She has volunteered at various dental hygiene symposiums, and continues to expand her knowledge by attending training courses on Oral Cancer Screening, Ministry of Health Best Infection Control Practices, and Soft Tissue Management.
Amirhasan Shahrzad, Registered Dental Hygienist
Amir has been working as a dental hygienist for 4 years. He has a warm and kind approach to patients, and enjoys encouraging patients to be proactive in preventative care, by involving them in decision making regarding their treatment options.
It is through preventative care that he helps his patients achieve optimum oral health, in a clean and modern dental office.
When he’s not tending to his patients, Amir can be found biking, running, and spending time with his friends.
Jennifer Herman, Office Manager
Jennifer is our friendly Office Manager at Elles Birch Dental and with over 16 years of experience, dedication and a passion for dentistry, she is pleased to take care of all your administrative needs.
She has completed the Dental Practice Management Program at the University of Toronto, Dental Assisting Program at George Brown College, as well as courses in communications and team building, human resources training and patient/customer service.
Patient satisfaction is Jennifer’s topmost priority. She enjoys working closely with patients to provide education and financing assistance while offering compassion and humor to make people feel at ease. Don’t hesitate to ask Jennifer for assistance at any time during your visits with us!
